Maheshwari Public School, a name in the zenith of education; initiated its journey in July 1977 and established a firm foot as an independent institution in July 1978.
Namaskar, Dear Children, today, I Ashok Saraswat, on behalf of Blue house, is going to share my views with you on ‘Always being prepared in life’. One of the famous couplets of Kabir goes like this, “Dukh me sumiran sab kare sukh me kare na koy; jo sukh me sumiran kare to dukh kahe ko hoy.” It means that we all pray in bad and sad times, but if we pray in good times too, then there may be no bad and sad times. Kabir had given to the world a very holistic solution to a balanced life. Let me begin with small, day to day events to understand our folly. A classic scenario is studies and academics. How often we have found ourselves praying frantically during exam times, and before announcement of results. We make all sorts of promises - from being honest, to being punctual and regular. We get through everything, not realizing that ultimately it was only the consequence of our efforts. But all that praying and good behavior gets over as soon as the results come out and we are back to our normal self. If only we can hold on to the same prayers and promises throughout the year, when things are going our way, we won’t have to struggle during exams and we will come out with flying colours. God seems to have become more a matter of convenience than a matter of conviction. There is a need to pray during bad times, but it is a must to pray during good times with more sincerity and intensity so that the good times last. If there is equal focus of time, effort and energy on every sphere of life, You don’t build a fire proof house when the fire is raging. Dams are not built during floods. What you do today is going to decide your future. As Dr. Samuel has rightly said “The future is purchased by the present”. Therefore, if you want to secure a good future for yourself, you will have to use your present in the best possible way.
On behalf of Grey house I want to share a memorable and inspirable story of famous business tycoon, JRD Tata who taught a big lesson through a short story. We all have very carelessness habit about anything or other but do we observe when we are careless and when we are not. JRD Tata had a friend who used to misplace and lose his pen very often. He was worried about his carelessness habit. JRD suggested him to buy the costliest pen he could afford and see what happens. He did and purchased a 22 carat gold pen. After nearly six months, JRD asked his friend if he continues to lose his pen. His friend said that he is very careful about his costly pen and he is surprised how he is changed a lot. Then JRD explained him that the value of the pen made the difference and there was nothing wrong with him as a person. This exactly happens in all of ours life. We are careful with things we value the most. Like, if we value our health we become careful about what and how we eat. If we value our friends, we will treat them well. If we value money we will think before spending. If we value relationships, we will not break it. If we value our time, we will not waste it. So the conclusion of whole story is that carefulness is a basic trait all of us should have, we know when to be careful and carelessness only shows what we don’t value. And Dear Students, you all know time is the most precious and valuable resource. You can regain money or any gem but lost time cannot be brought back. Time can surely be termed as Tenure for Intelligent , Meritorious and Elite people. So, use it to the fullest and earn rewards ever after.
Dear students, often In my career as a teacher I had and still hear a question from my students, especially in classes 11 and 12 Sir, why do we study? Is studying necessary for living life ? .. Do we really need to study to earn money and to become rich and live a comfortable and luxurious life?.. Undoubtedly, hearing these questions increases my anxiety about answering this question of our young and budding future entrepreneurs, bureaucrats, future businessmen, and the managers of our country. Dear,... for no condition and for any reason we cannot underestimate the studies and living a disciplined student life to attain success in the future. Studying is a key skill used not only in education but also in day-to-day life. It builds knowledge and understanding of a subject area which helps prepare you for your future. Whether that involves advancing in your education or embarking on a new job or entrepreneurship. Generally, developing good study skills is great for your personal growth and your future endeavors. Studying is not just important for educational development, but also builds personal skills. Having good study skills can improve your confidence, competence, and self-esteem. Studying Makes You More Focused. Self-motivation and your desire to achieve results make you more responsible for everything that happens in life. Studying Gives You Confidence. Knowing that only studying can give such pleasure, students go all the way to score the best grades and get over with their exams. It is a scientifically proven fact that when you study and learn new things, your brain cells start firing and creating new connections. This makes you smarter and lets you make better decisions in life. And, there is no better way to develop your skills other than by studying. When you solve problems related to your studies, your brain gets trained to think quickly and find solutions to problems. This skill comes in quite handy in day-to-day life and helps you in making better decisions. When students study for their exams, they tend to get so engrossed in their studies that they have no time for anything else except learning new things every single day. It not only creates a hunger for learning new things but also makes you curious to know more and more. This curiosity leads to an insatiable appetite for knowledge, which is always good! Studying hard day in and day out brings with it the benefit of becoming a responsible person. You have probably heard people say this a lot of times before - Every problem comes with its solution'. When you are struggling with a problem and do not know how to solve it, studying can help you in finding that solution. This is because when you study for your exams, you come across problems that have already been solved by someone else. So, all you need to do is find that solution and apply it to the problem that you are facing currently.
Today, on behalf of Purple House I am going to speak on a fascinating art that captures moments, emotions, and the beauty of the world around us – photography. Every year World Photography Day is celebrated on 19th August. Photography is not just about capturing pictures; it's about telling stories. Every photograph has a tale to share, whether it's a candid shot of friends sharing laughter or a breath-taking landscape that speaks of nature's grandeur. Think about the photographs that make you smile – the ones from family vacations, school events, or those candid shots with your best friends. These snapshots hold emotions and memories that transport us back to those cherished moments. They're not just images; they're portals to our past. Moreover, photography is a powerful tool for communication. A photograph can convey emotions, thoughts, and messages without a single word. It's a universal language that transcends barriers. Through photography, we can raise awareness about important issues, tell stories of distant lands, and express our creativity. As budding photographers, remember that every click matters. Each photograph you take has the potential to inspire, educate, and evoke emotions. Take the time to learn about different techniques – lighting, composition, angles – these aspects will help you create compelling visuals. In conclusion, let's celebrate the magic of photography today and every day. Let's appreciate the photographers who freeze time for us and transport us to different dimensions. Let's continue capturing memories, emotions, and stories because each photograph is a testament to our journey through life. Thank you.
“Success comes to those who toil hard and stays with those who don't rest on the achievements of the past.”
The world around us is changing faster than ever before. The way we lived and learned as children is very different from the opportunities and challenges our young ones face today. At MPS, we see this not as a challenge but as a responsibility—to prepare every child not just for exams, but for life.
Our vision, “To motivate the weak, to address the average, and to challenge the gifted,” reflects our belief that every child is unique and deserves to be guided in their own journey of growth. Education, to us, is not just about knowledge—it is about building character, nurturing compassion, and instilling the confidence to stand tall in a complex world. We take pride in creating a learning space where children feel safe, valued, and inspired. While our curriculum keeps pace with modern technology and global advancements, we remain deeply rooted in moral values and principles. As Aristotle beautifully said, “Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.” At MPS, we strive to do both—shaping not only bright minds, but also kind and responsible hearts. This journey would not be possible without the support of a dedicated management team, passionate teachers, and caring parents who work hand in hand. Together, we form a community that believes in teamwork, encouragement, and shared success.
I firmly believe that our students, with the right guidance and values, will grow into leaders of tomorrow—individuals who dream big, act wisely, and serve society with humility.
“Good luck—believe in yourself and shine!”
We believe that every child is unique and has infinite potential. Our responsibility as educators is to create opportunities, offer guidance, and provide the right environment so that each student can flourish with confidence and purpose. A strong foundation in academics, combined with moral values, creativity, and life skills, is what prepares our children to face the challenges of tomorrow.
In today’s fast-changing world, education must go beyond textbooks—it must nurture curiosity, adaptability, and resilience. At MPS, we are committed to equipping our students not only with knowledge but also with the courage to innovate, the wisdom to make the right choices, and the empathy to serve society.
The progress of our school is possible only through the dedication of our teachers, the support of our parents, and the enthusiasm of our students. Together, we form a community committed to holistic learning, teamwork, and shared success.
I am confident that with our collective effort, MPS will continue to inspire young minds to dream big, achieve excellence, and grow into responsible and compassionate global citizens.
“Wishing success and confidence to every aspirant!”
“Education is to equip young minds with tools to soar high and think beyond thinking.”
Education is essential for every individual. It enables a man to realise his talents and understand his responsibilities to propel his personal growth and it makes him a worthy citizen. The knowledge base is too dynamic and is continuously changing, therefore it is all the more pertinent to ensure that the discipline of the school and esprit de corps of the school be maintained. Quality education system including quality teaching is vital for achieving success in the global arena.
MPS inculcates the social values in the students and ignites their minds to perform their best. We firmly believe in adherence to values that are most relevant to the academic community, anchored on the concept of integrity.
I extend my best wishes to each and everyone who has been a part of this commendable work.
"If you work on your goals, your goals will work on you. If you go to work on your plan, your plan will go to work on you. Whatever good things we build up, end up building us."
– Abraham Maslow
